This project required a lot of assembly after the knitting portion was done.  But it was fun, and I'm quite pleased with the results.  I think I got his arms and legs on a little too far forward, but he's still cute.  I learned quite a bit making this! The pattern, as I've said before, is well written. I'm very pleased with how this came out, and I have to say I'm rather proud of it. :o)It blocked nicely too. Here you can see the scalloped edges, which is a feature I love about it. I think I want to frog back and partially re-knit a hat I made last year. This one:That would be Coronet, from Knitty.  See, here's the thing...the cabled brim is knit first, and then you pick up stitches around, and knit the rest of the hat. So I'm here to make good on that. Here's a photo of it, as far as I got.  As you can see, I was almost done!!  erg.  But that foot section was way too big, seeing as it had a lot more stitches in it than it was supposed to have. Yay!  I like it.  I still love the yarn, the colors, the softness.  The sock fits pretty well...it's not the tightest sock I've ever made, but I'm not particularly picky about such things. It's ready for felting, so when I am done with the Marit purse I'll felt them both.I added my i-cord handles, and tried to make the colors contrast each other.
